In August 2001, Dr. Linda Thomas-Hemak joined our faculty. Board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, she brought a thriving suburban practice to the teaching program. Our residents learn the principles of systems-based practice at this site and see a variety of patients which complement those seen at the health center.

Residents take part in ambulatory care rotations throughout their training. These rotations are designed to train residents in various aspects of ambulatory medicine. These include the subspecialties of Dermatology, Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Opthamology and ENT.
