STRP utilizes the clinical facilities and staff of Mercy Health Partners and Moses Taylor Hospital. The utilization of two large hospitals with separate staffs of primary care physicians enables the resident to gain a broad experience in terms of patients, attending physicians, conferences, and philosophies of practice.

Moses Taylor Hospital has 230 beds, 22 geropsychiatric inpatient beds, 32 skilled nursing beds as well as a 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. In addition to a full-service emergency department, Moses Taylor Hospital has medical/surgical and other acute care specialty services. The newest addition to the scope of care provided at Moses Taylor is the Family Birthing Suites, providing a family-focused environment for births.

Mercy Hospital is one of the largest, comprehensive acute care hospitals in Northeastern Pennsylvania. With 293 beds and a large medical staff, Mercy Hospital offers specialized care in more than forty areas of medicine. These include comprehensive cardiovascular and oncology care.
